Symptoms such as mild digestive upset, ear infections, skin irritation, or minor injuries may be appropriate for a same-day veterinary appointment. Difficulty breathing, collapse, uncontrolled bleeding, or other potentially life-threatening symptoms require immediate emergency veterinary attention.
