First, we want to send out a huge THANK YOU to our incredible clients for their patience and understanding during this unusual time. We understand that curbside service hasn’t been easy for you and we hope you know that it hasn’t been easy for us either. We know it’s hot and uncomfortable outside right now because we feel it too and we look forward to the day when things can go back to normal. In the meantime, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate you working with us.
We want to update you on some small changes to our current Covid-19 protocol: The health and safety of our clients and staff is our number one priority right now and so at this time, we plan to continue curbside service through at least the end of July. We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and cases in our area and will update you at the beginning of August on any changes to our current protocol.
Starting on Monday, July 13 we will start giving you the option of either having a staff member come to your car to get your pet or having you bring your pet into the lobby to hand off to the technician. If you elect to bring your pet into the lobby, let your technician know over the phone and they will come to the door to wave you in. Please wear a mask. Once your pet is safely inside and with a technician, you can return to your car while the doctor examines your pet. We are continuing to offer in-hospital end of life discussions and euthanasia appointments as we know how difficult these already are. If you come inside, whether to hand off your pet or for end of life care, we ask that you please wear a mask and maintain social distancing to the best of your ability.
